The damaged area would be rubbed back and feathered out to create a new smooth surface. Next re-primered, paint matched and re-painted. Then lacquered, baked, cut back and polished.

Once the bumper scuff is repaired the vehicle can be hand washed only after 48 hours. No other method of cleaning, waxing or polishing is allowed for 2 weeks.
